The Longwood Branch YMCA proudly partners with Nordonia City Schools to provide comprehensive Before and After School Enrichment programs designed to support students and families throughout the school year. Our program offers a safe, structured, and engaging environment where children can continue learning, build friendships, and participate in enriching activities beyond the traditional school day.

We operate on-site within the cafeterias of Northfield, Ledgeview, Rushwood, and Lee Eaton elementary schools, making the transition from the classroom to our program seamless and convenient for families!

How to Register

 2025-2026 Before & After School Enrichment Registration Packet

Registration for our 2026-2027 school year opens April 1st! Enrollment remains open until the groups are at their maximum capacity.

A one-time $40 non-refundable registration fee is due upon registration. Register before June 1st, 2026 and have the registration fee waived!

Cost

Before & After Care is available at Northfield, Ledgeview, and Rushwood Elementary. Lee Eaton Elementary offers After Care only.

  • Before Care Only: $60/week or $30/day (if attendance is 2 days or less per week)

     

  • After Care Only: $85/week or $30/day (if attendance is 2 days or less per week)

     

  • Before AND After Care: $110/week or $40/day (if attendance is 2 days or less per week)

     

  • Fun/Snow Days: $50/day

Fun Days, Snow Days, & Delays

The Longwood YMCA offers Fun Days from for when school is not in session, based on the Nordonia City Schools District Calendar for the 2025-2026 school year. This care is from 6:30am until 6:00pm at our office location 8761 Shepard Rd, Macedonia. Children will be able to participate in a multitude of activities including, but not limited to: arts & crafts, outside play, gaga ball, sport activities, and much much more!

Snow days will be offered at the Longwood Branch YMCA from 8:30am until 6:00pm. Prior registration is required.

If the School District has a 2 hour delay, there will be no morning care but aftercare will run as normal.
