The Wadsworth Grizzly Outdoor Pool is a collaboration between the City of Wadsworth and the Wadsworth YMCA. As a separate operation from the indoor building, it has additional operating costs covered by membership dues or daily fees. You do not have to be a member of the Y to use the Outdoor Pool, however the season pass is reduced for Akron Area Y Members.
The Outdoor Pool consists of two pools, the Leisure Pool and the Deep Pool. The Leisure Pool includes a zero depth entry, splash pad, spray guns, two small slides, a vortex and is 3 feet 6 inches deep. The Deep Pool includes a wet deck, drop slide, diving board and is 12 feet deep. Both pools are heated to 83 degrees.
